Leah + Erica

Leah and Eric booked me quite some time before their wedding. In fact, this was before same sex marriage was even legal in Australia. It absolutely blows my mind that that was every the case. As a queer woman myself, it has been wonderful to celebrate with and be a part of so many same sex weddings since this has passed, and I’m very excited to do some more. And boy oh boy, was Erica and Leahs a celebration. Held on the rooftop of the St Kilda baths it was a stunning ceremony, with many tears from the guests and maybe a few from the photographer as well.

These two chose to get ready together (something that I’m a huge advocate for!) with all of their bride tribe in the one place. They hired out a stunning air b’n’b in Fitzroy. Wanting to spend as much time partying with all their guests as possible, we took photos before hand, around the streets, at the rainbow crossing in St Kilda and on the foreshore. It was a beautiful day, and the girls looked like absolute bombshells and I know for a fact that the party went pretty damn late into the night.

One of the most wonderful aspects of my job is that I get to meet so many wonderful people. Sometimes after a day I even get to call these awesome people my friends. Erica and Leah, we’re well overdue for a catchup! But god it was so good capturing your day. Thank you.
